3 out of 3

The third photographer i found is Nan Goldin. I love the sense of darkness that is portrayed in all of her photos. She is more interesting than anything....I was sitting their scrolling through her images and it just gave me a strange feeling look at all her images. Dark lighting, and the sense of being on the cusp of death or in a really bad way of life. The picture to your left is a picture that was taken for a fashion magazine.

Post 2 out of 3.

The second artist i found is Joel Meyerowitz...Basically he is one of the few photographers i found that take pictures of the things about society that you don't want to see, or creates images that make you feel rather uncomfortable....Among images that can be kind of controversial or risque. I love this aspect of his work because everyone always searches for the "perfect" image to represent a "perfect society" when in reality, society isn't perfect.
He just generally catches things that happen in everyday life.

I'm behind on post an posting about awesome photographers i found. So here is the first out of 3.

The first photographer is Neil Leifer. I am interested in his work for his ability to get in motion shots. When it comes to sports it hard to catch the perfect image, and Neil gets the perfect shot in motion almost every time, He creates clean images that make you almost feel like you are on the side lines.

The artist I posted for the week is Katharina Jung. Her photos stick out to me because the way she portrays her art and the themes she chooses to make. She is a surrealistic artist and she places all these crazy things within her art to portray different things.

My new photographer of the week is Greg Ponthus. He is another new young photographer that i found who creates amazing images. The thing that stood out most about him was his use of focus and color. He creates very fluid images that gives you the feeling of "silence," or the feeling of a skipped heart beat.
